I lived in Mexico for 2 years (I’m American) and I do stutter in Spanish a lot more than my English. I think it’s because with speaking a second language like Spanish you have to think of the words more, even with complete fluency, and speaking in your first language you don’t have to think at all about what you say, it just flows
