I never used to worry about stuttering during interviews but lately my stutter has been far more extreme, and as it happens I'm looking for a new job and have had interviews. I've taken the same approach, I mention that I stutter right after I introduce myself and thank the interviewer for meeting with me, even if they might not have heard me stutter yet. It puts me more at ease, and it feels better to explain it from the beginning rather than explain it half way during an interview, when my focus is on carefully answering the interview questions. I think that if the interviewer doesn't ask about possible concerns, you could indicate at the end of the interview that you have the confidence and focus and job knowledge that you need to fully carry out your duties and there wont be any problems. By the way, kudos to you Mr Quackums for taking on a job requiring a lot of talking! I see that quite a few people on this sub have some incredible courage in taking on jobs that involve a lot of speaking with the public. This is something that I've done in the past, but over the last year my stutter has been amplified to basically worse than its ever been and I've really shied away from speaking.
