Yes, my husband stutters. We have 2 girls and 1 boy. He read that boys tend to have a chance to stutter more and when he found out during our ultrasound it was going to be a boy, I could see the fear in his eyes. Just the fear that his son may have to experience what he has and is going through. Our son stuttered when he was younger but grew out of it starting in 2nd grade. He’s 15 now and more or less just mumbles. I think it’s a teenage thing. Kids don’t look down at him. He’s their everything.
