If someone says “stuttering doesn’t make you forget your wife’s name!!! Lol!”, it’s bc they’ve never had to deal with a serious block where you’d rather appear to have forgotten than acknowledge you are unable to make sound come out of your mouth. Still not political - but I have little respect for him as a person because he’s missing so many opportunities to raise awareness of stuttering. Edit - he has admitted to having had a stutter *that he overcame*. I wonder if even he doesn’t realize that his blocks are actually worse versions of repetitions?
