I absolutely relate. It is like the sentence a non-stuttered would structure is the freeway - super quick, convenient, and easy. Then I try to say that same thing....start on the freeway, and realize 3 words in that I can't get through the sentence, so I take an exit and zig-zag through the backroads to get to the final destination. I still get to my point/sentence out in a semi-clear way (usually) but I know people look at me like....why did you take such a long-winded way to say that??
