It does repeat itself a lot, but I'm a fast reader and often miss points. I think she hammered everything home very well. Personal opinion, but I see where you're coming from. I can see how the speaking too fast could be a problem. The book opened my eyes as to where I' going to stop imagining/preparing for every conversation before it actually begins. I still think you can remember to talk a little bit slower, but still not think about the actually words too much, you'll be okay. The book is a little complex, but does propose some great ideas.
