I get the feeling of that too, for one example a few years back in school my friends and I were talking and I was trying to tell my opinion and I got half way through the story without stuttering, when I looked at everyone’s face they all looked really interested and invested in the story. After I stuttered you can see their eyes wander and you can tell they get bored. It’s really hard seeing that, I’m currently trying to figure out how to turn my brain off when I talk. What I mean by this is just don’t think about the words you’re gonna say because when you think and plan on the words you should say and the words you avoid your brain is on overtime and it’s a lot more effort and ironically you just stutter more. My current goal is to just have the subject in my mind and just go from there, starting off slow and enunciating help a lot too I hope this helps.
