Hey dude! I have been going to a speech therapist for the past couple of months (I'm 22 so I am seeing an "adult" therapist) - I highly recommend having a look around. It is fucking hard at first, I honestly hated doing it because I personally saw no improvement straight away until we found techniques that work for me. I found the best thing about the speech therapist was learning about how smooth speech works and understanding what part of you is causing the stutter, then working on techniques to work through the stuttering moments. Potentially at the end you might have smoother and clearer speech than other people even with those stuttering moments - which fuck they happen and we all move along!
