I order using apps or self service when I can but if I have to order face to face. I have a well rehearsed upbeat "hi how are you?" no one ever reacts badly to it. It puts me at ease and relieves a lot of my tension when I get a friendly response and you'd be surprised the difference it makes to the server too. They seem more relaxed too. So I tend to stutter less and if I do they aren't too worried about it either.
