I'm with you, but I'm no longer down about it. We have a slight disability. Compared to other disabled people, I think we (I) have it very good. I have a pretty severe stutter and don't apply for jobs that focus on customer facing communication. I do electrical automation contracting work. The stuff you see in r/cableporn and r/plc . Make a good living in my mids 30s and I'm happy. When I was a teenager I did share your concerns though. I don't want to be coarse, but I look at it like, 'if I didn't have feet, I couldn't be a waiter' well, I've got a severe stutter, so working at a call center is out of the question. Highly skilled labor may be the way to go. It was for me.
