Edit: I didn't see that you removed your post. That's unfortunate. What I did not agree with is that you presented your technique as a 'fix' - there is currently no cure for this condition. I agree that breathing and applying singer's techniques to your voice can help you control your stutter, to a certain degree, or - more likely - make the amount of speaking that you are able to do more powerful and requiring less effort. You spend enough energy as it is on stuttering. ​ I have lived my life with a stutter and a stammer and have experienced a lot of myths/prejudice/misconceptions with regards to my disability. So, for me, it's about putting things right, explaining what having a stutter/stammer is and how it works. I don't care about winning. I won a lot of battles already :) ​ I do use singer's techniques to help me speak better, to get a stronger voice, when I am not stuttering. Because, why not make the most out those good moments?
