I’ve been a teacher and worked 1-1 with kids from age 3-15 for over 20 years. They are definitely capable of caring and understanding and compassion. It’s all in how you frame it. If you frame it as a challenge for you, but one that you are working on - and then shift into asking them what’s hard for them, you will be teaching them authentic resilience.
