I'm undergoing speech therapy and my therapist started with deep breathing. Basically increase the capacity of my breathing as we tend to shallow breathe. Then the main part was to practice reading out aloud words and phrases in such a way that u take a breathe in from ur mouth and then start speaking, at a slow pace. Practicing daily for about an hour will make it a habit to take deeper breathes and talk slowly.
