Find out interesting facts about my stuttering I had a doctor's appointment today. While waiting in the waiting room, I was very nervous and tense. It was certain that if I went inside the doctor's, I would stutter. Then I said to myself how strong I am, talked positively about myself and said that the person opposite me is only human. When I was at the doctor's, I spoke almost fluently and the stuttering was hardly there. I then tested the same thing while shopping. There was a pretty lady at the cash register. I was tense and nervous again when it would be my turn. Then I said to myself, she's only human, what are you afraid of. Then my stuttering was gone. Do you have any tips for me on how I can improve permanently in this regard?
