I've heard of psychogenic stuttering, but I wasn't sure what it was. I had an argument with my guardian that left me stressed, and then three days later (it came on gradually), I started to stutter. Five doctors have said it's stress-related. I was wondering if this is a thing and whether it will go away on its own. I'm 34 yo and have never stuttered before. I read your post, and I really liked it, but sorry, this is off topic. I'm on Methylphenidate and Risperidone for schizophrenia and ADHD. I've spoken to doctors, and they all say stress-related stammering. It said that YouTube trauma can cause stuttering, but a phone call that resulted in shouting can cause it? If anyone has any helpful information, that would be great! Thanks! Oh, and my uncle has been in rehab for three months due to his stroke.
