I agree with the other commenters — However, if you’re confident in your ability to the job, appeal to the hiring manager — tell them to put you on a probationary period. That you know your stutter is more pronounced in new environments but to give you two weeks and you will make them proud. If you can say or even back up with a letter from a past employer that your stuttering was barely noticed after a quick introductory period, even better. Tell the hiring manager how much this position would mean to you, benefits, etc, and that no one is going to work harder than you — especially knowing that they took a chance on you.
