My great experience with sorority recruitment This time it was me who was the recruiter. I have to admit, when I first heard about it, I was planning on opting out from recruitment and not doing it at all. I went to the practice sessions and I decided I would give it a try, despite my hardships. I did pretty well during practice runs so I decided I would go ahead and recruit. They gave me the option to opt out, but I decided I wanted to help out. The first day comes and I am nervous as hell, overthinking, questioning why I did this, etc. The time comes to do a shit ton of rounds and talk to a bunch of girls and... I did great! I did stutter but I had great conversations with girls and I was able to get my message across. A lot of people told me they were proud of me and that meant so much. I am stronger than my stutter! I am so happy and I feel confident about my abilities as a person. Hope this post encourages people
