I have a terrible stutter (and I REALLY mean terrible) and I'm a lawyer and I also play an active role in politics. And right now I'm travelling on my own in Australia for a few weeks where I have to talk to other people in my second language all the time. And guess what? People are so understanding and helpful - to a degree that honestly surprised me but also gives my self esteem a boost every time. So stop letting this shit define your life. It really hurts my soul to see how self-pitying this sub sometimes is.
