I’m sorry but this is just not true for everyone. “You will outgrow it, you just need to put in effort” is just blatantly false. Just because you outgrew it doesn’t mean everyone will, and this line of thinking makes it seem like people who don’t grow out of it aren’t trying hard enough. I’m 23 and still stutter- it doesn’t control my life but I didn’t grow out of it.
