I can also go long stretches being fluent to the point that people wouldn’t think I stutter. And some people have said I don’t but I know I do. For me it’s like my being gay and autistic. I don’t announce it, I live my truth and if it comes up, ok. And if it never comes up, ok. And if they read it in me and it doesn’t come up, ok Now, it took me a long time to be that comfortable with that, beginning with my stutter, so I’m not trying to be cavalier or dismissive. I have a little over 20 years over you. I’m just saying, just treat it as a part of you. There’s no need to neither announce it or cover it up.
