Yeah I will not listen to myself recorded esp if I can see myself speaking. Honestly as a kid this is probably what stopped my singing: people would record me singing Christmas songs and admire how I didn't stutter and show me and it had sort of a side show feel. Back then family all blamed themselves too so that couldn't have helped. I still will not record my own voice on purpose for any reason. It doesn't sound like me. When I'm in the background of videos audio I am never sure it's me and don't want to listen closer it's like I'm revolted or nails on a chalkboard. Glad I'm not alone!
