**Shutdown in public** I have been living in the U.S. for a **very** long time now and I still can't speak English at a decent level. Whenever I speak to someone in an open, public place (classroom, supermarket, outside, or loud place), I would stutter and start speaking incoherently. Even with my best friends, I would stutter and mispronounce the most **basic** words. However, when I'm in a more sealed room that enables me to hear my voice and feel the vibrations of my throat when I'm talking, I would be able to speak decently, not stuttering and mispronounce words less often. I tried to look online for a solution but achieved nothing. **No Money-->** Please don't suggest me to see a speech therapist like the last few people did. I'm a student with a hefty amount of loan on my shoulders. Daily living necessities are already hard for me to earn, so seeing a therapist is definitely out of the question. TLDR: stutter and mispronounce words in open, public places, but in a sealed room when able to hear my voice and feel my throat vibrations, I speak **much** better.
