this is awful and the company needs reporting. i see from another comment that you’re in india, is a stutter considered a disability? are there laws protecting people with stutters in india? is there anyone you can report the company to? you mentioned that the interview was compulsory, was it arranged through the university? have they been told about this? maybe they can take things further? it amazes me how there are still so many employers who don’t understand that people have hurdles and setbacks, it doesn’t make them any less capable of their job. this employer is focusing way too much on the minor things you might not be able to do and not on the many many things you could bring to the company. it’s their loss at the end of the day, this small-minded way of employing will only result in allowing very strong candidates to slip away.
