Stuttering and Performance

Stuttering and Performance I really don't mind public speaking, in fact I love it. But what really irkes me is when I put in so much time and effort into a presentation and get points off from disfluencies, while Joe Shmo who didn't prepare and speaks out of his ass gets an A. Just last week I had a Chinese Oral Exam. (我喜欢学中文!) I spent so much time studying. I did great to be honest. I got 100 on vocabulary, sentence structure but because there were 2-4 times when I paused for a few seconds I get a B on the midterm because of (lack of fluency). That honestly sucks. In addition, I work a retail job outside of my classes. It's a low key restaurant job. My manager walks up to me and says I'm awkward around people. I question her because I'm in no way awkward. She says I keep stuttering and not knowing what to say, and that I should think about what to say before I say it. Seriously fuck you. Again I really don't mind talking at all and this stutter won't stop me from pursuing my career goals, but damn sometimes I wanna punch people in the face.
