It’s 100% okay to take jobs with less or no talking. The goal is to be comfortable with your impediment, not necessarily ignore it. If you were working the drive thru for whatever reason, they’d probably move you somewhere else for your own comfort anyway. There are plenty of jobs that don’t require you speaking, or atleast don’t put such a great importance on fluency. Be kind and easy on yourself. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. There is a place on this earth for all of us.
