Look up Vipassana. It is an ancient meditation practice where you enroll for a 10 day meditation ritual in a vipassana ashram or monastery. For those 10 days you live like a monk and perform this meditation all day. Many people that have been in difficult situations in life tend to enroll in this course. They come out of it claiming 100% improvement in self awareness and ability to control their inner state of being. I’ve been meditating for almost 8 years and it has helped me immensely to cope with my stutter, adhd and anxiety. I will be enrolling to vipassana later this year. Most places it is free and run by donations.
