Was your speech therapy with a school faculty member or an independent speech language pathologist? Because I wasted several years in elementary and middle school going to weekly sessions with my school's in-house "expert" who didn't know shit about the condition and was literally useless, and I only saw actual improvement once I started seeing an actual trained speech therapist.
