I always thought that my stutter is a 'filter': it helps me to choose the good people, who accept me and love me no matter what. I don't need those ones who think stuttering means being numb. So if the girl doesn't want you because of the speaking problem, I don't think that you really needed her. If she just felt sorry and didn't know how to react, good luck with her!
