I'm a speech path (for 16 years) that just attended a conference with Dr. Scott Yaruss as a speaker to teach techniques for preschoolers and families. I feel so sad about the level of hopelessness I read on here at times, but damn, that Yaruss made me confident we can help. Please know we care and we know that we don't all have all of the answers. Research is constantly ongoing and updating. No, there's no cure, probably won't be in my lifetime, but there are a lot of things we can do to help.
