I know it sounds dumb but lately I have been trying to not focus on the words I’m going to say in a sentence. I feel like in my mind, if I focus too much on an upcoming word, that word usually is the one I will stutter so I try to focus on other things rather than what I’m going to say and just let what imma say come out freely instead of focusing too much on words I will stutter on. For example I find when I’m laughing and talking or if I’m mad and talking, I don’t stutter much, not even the words I know I have a hard time saying. Because I’m more focused on the reason why I’m laughing or the reason why I’m mad than stuttering. So I try to replicate that by focusing on other things rather than upcoming words. (Hopefully that makes sense)
