Is it normal to have sudden onset of stuttering as an adult?

Is it normal to have sudden onset of stuttering as an adult? Hey there! New here, I just began to have a stutter, only occasionally, within the past week (I'm 26). I was wondering if this can be normal, like related to not sleeping well or something? I'm wondering if I should report this to my neurologist prior to an MRI I already have ordered (for vision issues and weakness)?
