Yeah, I stutter through my sentences. Unless the stutter is really bad, I don't let it affect the flow of my sentence and don't pay any attention to it. And, like I said, I don't feel any awkwardness coming from the listener the vast majority of the time. The girl grinning bothered me during the date but not afterwards. I just brushed it off as her being immature or being blissfully ignorant about stuttering. Didn't really hurt my confidence overall. Edit: Don't take your incident with the girls personally, bro. You may just need to practice speaking in uncomfortable situations (like girls, sales, trying to share religious information on the street lol anything). Maybe try something in customer service or volunteering where you speak to people a lot. It's a process. It didn't happen over night for me. Took me years to accept that my stutter is just another characteristic of my personality. If I don't stutter, that's great but even if I do stutter, I'm still the same person.
