Thank you so much for your post. Good stuff to ponder. I’d agree that confidence is ABSOLUTELY key. As we all know those pre/teen years aren’t the most confident time for most kids- those with no impediments find it hard- those of us that were touched by stuttering in those years had it that much harder. I agree confidence and esteem building will be super important when addressing my son. It’s crazy when you’ve dealt with other kids/students over the years and you’ve seen them make progress with your assistance but your own child has the tallest wall up.
