Mines completely tied to stress and tension. The more relaxed and confident I am the better my stutter is. If I'm having a bad patch. I often go though a week or 3 where my stutter is a lot worse then usual. When this happens I try not to focus on the stutter and try to focus on relaxing myself. Try to figure out if there's something stressing you out and see if it can be resolved. I don't believe in the spiritual stuff about meditation or anything but if I just take ten minutes a day to sit down. Close my eyes and just breathe really slowly it definitely helps. It's a accumulative affect but it does work. I am able to control my stutter a bit by trying to control my stress levels.
