There are plenty of employers out there that won’t ridicule you. That’s so disrespectful, you deserve better. IMO, it’s a good thing that you won’t work for them. I don’t think you’d want to work with a team that laughs at the way you talk. You did something that’s really hard, which is a giant success. Interviewing for jobs is always hell, but unfortunately just gotta keep applying
