The only way we get over these feelings is putting ourselves out there. People will be jerks along the way but you develop a callous to it. Why don’t you try it? Get a mic or a headset that gives you feedback to what you sound like. I’m not into this kind of thing but I know broadcasters do it. Maybe some earbuds. It would actually be great practice.
