While many people here can’t help you financially, they still can give you valuable tips from experience. Just know that you’re not alone in your stuttering journey, and that despite of that you can still achieve a lot in life! When I was a kid, I never imagined myself to be a journalist. I wanted to become a scientist and study biology. However, life sometimes takes you to unexpected locations. Now I’m studying journalism and doing an internship. It’s going great so far. But I had to learn a lot about my stutter to get here and survive. Don’t worry about your stutter. The more you want to fight it, the worse it gets. Accept it as a part of yourself, and try to enjoy your life. It’s a number of very hard lessons you need to learn about society, but it is possible to do it. Don’t overstretch yourself, but don’t protect yourself too much either. Know the standard stutter techniques and focus on your breath. It’s hard work to keep a calm state, but once you can it’ll benefit you in so many situations outside of stuttering. I know you want to be like others, but the harsh truth is that you are never going to be. Not because of your stutter, but because of who you are as a person. It’s okay to not be as daring or social as others, you have different traits that make you unique.
