What do you guys think about the discussion over whether people with inherited disabilities should have children?

What do you guys think about the discussion over whether people with inherited disabilities should have children? I know that not all stutterers inherit their stutter genetically, but that is the case for me. For those who can relate, what are your opinions on this topic? A few people I know have discussed this and side with saying it shouldn’t be allowed if it’s “severe”, bringing up conditions like autism or Down syndrome, however stuttering can also be dehabiliting for some.
