I would do things you fear, and after you do them and feel bad or ashamed or embarrassed, take some time and sit with those emotions. And realize you can be with them and be ok. And in time, you'll start internalizing that that scary speaking situation won't kill you and you'll feel embarrassed but it's not that bad and it will slowly lessen.
