Stuttering in Adults

Stuttering in Adults Hello! I'm a therapist who has recently begun working with an adult who stutters. They had it as a young child and it mostly disappeared by 12 or 13. They did not have any stutter symptoms for approx 15 years until it began again as an adult. When symptoms began again, she was under tremendous stress. I am unfamiliar with how this may have occurred and wanted to get some insight. Any insight would be appreciated!
