I always like meeting a fellow stutterer, however, I do recognize that this trait we share is ultimately secondary to their personality. I don't want someone to be my friend just because I stutter, I want them to be my friend because they enjoy my company. In high school, I met a guy with a stutter and assumed we would be friends. Turned out he was a real asshole and the exact opposite of someone I would like to be friends with.
