I’m sorry our current administration has failed your people. I’m a US veteran and I know for a fact that veteran groups are taking matter into our own hands and are currently coordinating evacuation actions in AFG without our governments assistance. I would try and seek out any liaisons in your area if possible and try to find groups. Block out the news, resistance groups are still active regardless what the Taliban tells you.
