Has anyone ever had an acquaintance think that you had autism because of your stutter (being quiet/shy/awkward/introverted/etc when communicating)

Has anyone ever had an acquaintance think that you had autism because of your stutter (being quiet/shy/awkward/introverted/etc when communicating) I (30m) recently found out that one of my high school “acquaintances” thought and still thinks that I have autism because of the way that I act around people due to my stutter and I don’t know how to feel about that. Also, just to clarify there’s nothing wrong with people who have autism I’ve just never had someone tell me that before. I just would like to see if anyone has had a similar experience. Thanks!
