ME TOO. Caffeine + A LOT of water, like 2 bottles. I have night sweats though so I lose a lot of water. Works best on empty stomach. Gives me 1 hour then slowly loses effectiveness. I do NOT feel more confident at all. I feel slightly to moderately more awake. My speech slurs without water + caffeine. My theory is a small burst in dopamine. When I talk, it SOUNDS more confident, though i don't feel more confident at all. I can finally speak in meetings. I take propanol to mitigate the negative side effects of caffeine as well as deep breathing. Caveat is it might only work for me because I'm on other drugs that boost dopamine, Wellbutrin. I'm also on an SSRI + a mood stabilizer which does very very mildly interact with caffeine so it might work for me because of the combination.
