Replacing "good" with "hanging in there"
Content
Replacing "good" with "hanging in there" So, for the past year or so, I've been replacing the word "good" with "hanging in there" when asked how I was doing, usually with a smile on my face. I always block heavily on hard sounds like a G. No one ever asked for more details or anything until yesterday. I was downtown and ran into someone I hadn't seen in a while. He thought something was wrong when I said "hanging in there" and I had to basically say I was good after that. Which defeated the purpose in the first place of replacing the word "good." Anyone else ever run into something like this? Or have any advice on how to approach this in the future? I don't usually replace words unless I consistently have hard blocks with them.
