Stuttering when silent reading and creating words/sentences in the mind? Hi everybody I'm new here so I'm not very knowledgeable about stutter and I consulted this problem with my SLPs, and they told me that stutter is a speech disorder instead of thinking disorder or language disorder. Therefore, blocks during silent reading or creating languages are not stuttering and they are just fears of stuttering. Did that make sense? I don't think it correct cuz speaking stems from thinking over languages, where you'll also picture the scene of you articulating, aka silent reading. So that's why I think stuttering even when creating languages without anyone to talk with is also stuttering. Any different opinions?
