Yep, sometimes there are no alternatives, especially when you are asked to choose something, you are forced to say one or the other. I remember a bad experience in Rome, I was having tea and coffee with my wife at a coffee shop, went to ask for milk, a very simple task for some, a big challenge for us, I got the words out, very happy with myself, then he asks "hot or cold milk" now I'm trying to say cold, stuttering really bad, c c c c c c cold, the guy laughs and says "are you a rapper" made me feel like crap, couldn't wait to finish up my drink and get out of there.
