Never debate the inarguable. Here's food for thought though: Here are studies that look at dopamine antagonists and their effect on stuttering. Dopamine antagonists reduce dopamine levels, for anyone wondering. TLDR: Reducing dopamine levels in the basal ganglia of the brain shows effectiveness in stuttering.... Not without side effects. 1.
