Nothing bad would've happened if you'd picked up the phone and stuttered. Sure, maybe it'd have been embarassing at first and you'd have cringed thinking about it the day after, but letting it hold you back in life is the worst thing you can do. Life happens when you throw yourself at it over and over again until you acheive your goal. You can do anything.
