I don't stutter when I sing

I don't stutter when I sing Ok I'm sure all of you are familar with this phenomenon, but when I sing, I don't stutter whatsoever, then when I talk normally I stutter. Does anyone have any insight on this? Also I should mention when I stutter I block instead of repetition. I'm wondering if anyone has any techniques or tips?
